Duties

Help

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyzes and evaluates on a quantitative/qualitative basis the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Develops, analyzes, and evaluates new or modified programs and/or management policies, regulations, goals or objectives.
  • Evaluates and advises on organization structures, methods, and procedures.
  • Develops procedures and systems for assessing the effectiveness of programs and/or management processes.
  • Manage and oversee travel and records management programs.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

GS-12: To qualify you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-11: The specialized experience includes:

  • Using quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures.
  • Engaging in on-going analysis of budget, procurement, space and facilities, travel, training, records management, and property management.
  • Performing management studies to evaluate and measure the progress and success of projects assigned and to identify and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative programs and activities.

GS-13- To qualify you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12. The specialized experience includes:

  • Managing administrative operations to include budget formulation and execution, procurement and contracts, space and facilities management, travel, training, records management, and property management; experience implementing administrative regulations, policies and practices, and reporting systems.
  • Experience formulating long-range and short-range plans for administrative management matters; experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures.
