Qualifications

Time-In-Grade Requirement: The position of Lead Training Specialist falls within the 1712 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-14, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 pm EST of the closing date. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-14 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

IN ADDITION TO MEETING THE TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT, ALL APPLICANTS MUST ALSO MEET THE FOLLOWING:

In order to qualify for the position of Lead Training Specialist, GS-1712-14, you must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service which include experience at a level which includes planning, evaluating highly-specialized training needs of an organization; advising senior management officials on various types of instructional systems; evaluating the effectiveness of instructional programs, and developing and revising training materials and uses blended-learning approach to conduct training.
