As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

  • Serve as an advisor to management on the evaluation of the Federal energy management policy.
  • Support management in convening, consensus building, and managing results of the inter-agency working groups.
  • Lead efforts to support agency implementation of the Federal Sustainability Guiding Principles and progress reporting.
  • Contribute to agenda development and program implementation supporting the activities of the inter-agency working groups.
  • Contribute to data assembly, research, and analysis efforts supporting the drafting of required reports to Congress, the Executive Office of the President, and controlled correspondence.
  • Assist with data management activities related to agency customer engagement.
  • Identify new or modified administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives for use in the management and direction of program office.

Qualifications

GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as meeting ALL of the following:

  1. Formulating the analytical techniques for accomplishment of project objectives to produce reliable findings.
  2. Providing subject matter expertise in Federal energy management policy stemming from statutory and Executive branch authorities, regulations, and guidance documents.
  3. Contributing to data assembly, research, and analysis efforts supporting the drafting of required reports to Congress, the Executive Office of the President, and controlled correspondence.

The OPM Group Qualification Standard for this Position is: Administrative and Management Positions. There is no Individual Occupational Requirements for the Management and Program Analyst Series 0343.
