Duties

Help

The duties and responsibilities for a Law Enforcement Associate Director generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert or primary coordinator for detailed leads from participating program member agencies.
  • Coordinate the preparation or review of testimony for Congressional Committees and Subcommittees.
  • Produce periodic informational memoranda or internal briefs for the programs senior management of significant events which occur throughout the Program.
  • Exercise team leadership or supervisory personnel coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Law Enforcement Associate Director at (GS-0340-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.

If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).

Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is providing oversight of policy direction, program guidance, coordination, or funding for the effective participation in organization investigations.

You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement, 09/27/2024.
