Duties

Help

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Investigative Analyst generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide technical and supervisory oversight to the employees in the program.
  • Conduct periodic and comprehensive evaluations of ongoing functions to ensure that the organization meets its goals.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the development of enforcement and intelligence support to include research/analysis, law enforcement policy, program development.
  • Responsible for preparation of briefing materials and knowledgeable in subject matter relating to international law enforcement and information sharing.

  • You must be a United States Citizen or National.
  • You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
  • You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Investigative Analyst at (GS-1805-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.

If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).

Specialized Experience for GS-14: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as overseeing or managing criminal investigative or law enforcement programs which involves developing and implementing issues.

You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement, 03/27/2024.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
