  • Studies and projects identify, evaluate, and resolve issues and problems associated with specific work processes or procedures which are discreet to the NCTR organization.
  • Analyst evaluates data and develops appropriate formats for summarizing data for use by management in budget justifications and planning documents; and extracts scientific data.
  • Plans, organizes and aligns work activities with the FDA Cybersecurity, Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Program strategic priorities.

Qualifications

The position of Management Analyst falls within the 0343 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-12, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 04/27/2020.

One (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal or public and private sectors, to include assisting in budget planning, formulation, execution, monitoring, and reporting; participating in the development of cost estimates, source justifications, and evaluation criteria for business lines; working with agency management officials and program staff in preparation, coordination, and execution of administrative support activities (i.e. budget, procurement, space, facilities, travel, human resources, and other related administrative functions); assisting senior analysts in the development of functional and technical requirements and procedures for controlling utilization of funds.
Composing and editing correspondence, ensuring proper grammar, format, punctuation and spelling.

FAC P/PM Level II or FAC COR Level II certification desired.




In accordance with Office of Personnel Management policy, federal employees are assumed to have gained experience by performing duties and responsibilities appropriate for their official series and grade level as described in their position description. Experience that would not normally be part of the employee's position is creditable, however, when documented by satisfactory evidence, such as a signed memorandum from the employee's supervisor or an SF-50 or SF-52 documenting an official detail or other official assignment. The documentation must indicate whether the duties were performed full time or, if part time, the percentage of times the other duties were performed.
