This position is located in the Denver Service Center (DSC).The DSC is the central planning, design, and construction project office for the National Park Service. DSC provides cradle to grave project management and delivery; from planning to construction. DSC works in every NPS region and in more than half of all parks in the National Park System. For more information, visit the DSC website at www.nps.gov/DSC.Physical Demands: The work is partially sedentary with prolonged standing, walking, and bending often required. Heavy or large items (reports, drawings and boxes up to 50 pounds) must be lifted or moved on a routine basis. Storage and retrieval of standard and oversize items require use of ladders and stairs.
Working Conditions: The work is typically performed in an office setting. But occasional work may take place in parks, basements, attics, or warehouse settings. Work with dusty or moldy documents may require use of dust masks, gloves, or other protective devices. Identification of health and safety issues may be needed.You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
