The incumbent serves as Quality Assurance (QA) Lead responsible for establishing and administering a QA framework.
Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Communicates and collaborates with cross-functional teams (Project Managers, Requirements Leads, Developers, Operations, Architects, Security Officers) to design effective test strategies and create and maintain test frameworks.
Serves as Release Management Lead responsible for overseeing the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the managing of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios.
Working collaboratively with all participants in software development projects, supporting developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments.
Working collaboratively with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.
Communicates test and release details and schedules to OIT management and business partners as required. Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, test and deploy software releases to various platforms.

Qualifications
For the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in federal service. Specialized experience includes experience developing a quality assurance (QA) framework plan and scripts to perform the different stages of testing. This includes building test automation for a CI/CD pipeline and implementing one or more libraries for automation, such as Protractor, Jasmine/Mocha and Selenium.
