    Responsibilities

    Play a vital role in facility operations at the First National Park Service Site in Kansas. Fort Larned National Historic Site is recruiting a Permanent part-time custodian to assist park visitors and park management in maintaining our high standard of customer satisfaction. Through your role in cleaning and disinfecting our facilities via dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming; collecting and removing trash you help with this goal. You also will assist with resource management with collection and tracking of solid waste and recycled materials. You will serve on our front line of environmental protection via green cleaning products and green procurement champion. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in public service with one of the best loved federal agencies.
