EXPERIENCE: Possess at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience includes developing, coordinating, managing or directing commercial, interpretive or administrative programs; developing long-range program plans for commercial activities, stakeholders or communities; coordinating and managing positive working relationships with friends groups, commercial vendors, regional staff and the general public; developing fee schedules for services provided; coordinating and managing and tracking large budgets and multiple accounts or other similar work; identifying creative opportunities for closer collaboration with friends groups. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service.
-OR-
EDUCATION: Possess a Masters or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field of study that is directly related to the work of the position, which demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to do the work of this position. (Two years of graduate education is 36 semester hours or 54 quarter hours). IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: If you are using education to qualify you must document your degree in your resume. If your degree was not in one of the directly-related fields listed in this response, you must submit a copy of your transcripts or a complete list of college courses taken that identifies for each course the college or university, semester or quarter hours earned, grade received, and date completed.
