Provide substantial input in the day-to-day technical and scientific planning, implementation, and analysis of the clinical aspects of scientific research studies conducted by other scientists.
Serve as scientific/clinical consultant for assigned grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements with State and local health departments, community-based organizations, and other governmental and non-governmental agencies and organizations.
Independently design, conduct, and analyze evaluation studies and surveillance projects to evaluate their reliability and validity in measuring the effectiveness of scientific public health programs and strategies.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, considering difficulty and requirements of assignments as well as the capabilities of employees.

Degree from Foreign Medical School:A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Descriptions of such programs are described below.
An internship program involves broadly based clinical practice in which physicians acquire experience in treating a variety of medical problems under supervision (e.g., internal medicine, surgery, general practice, obstetrics-gynecology, and pediatrics). Such programs are in hospitals or other institutions accredited for internship training by a recognized body of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
A fellowship program involves advanced training (beyond residency training) in a given medical specialty in either a clinical or research setting in a hospital or an institution accredited in the United States for such training.
