The duties and responsibilities for a Financial Management Specialist, GS-0501-13 position generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Planning, directing and coordinating performance of budget functions and financial management activities in several operating programs for Facilities and Administrative Staff.
* Performs a variety of fiscal, accounting, and financial management duties and responsibilities.
* Formulate and implement policies, procedures and protocols related to financial and budgetary operations.
* Advises senior management of the status of fiscal resources and future requirements.
* Recommends changes in funding and budgeting plans to senior management that affects substantive programs.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Financial Management Specialist, at GS-0501-13, you must meet the specialized experience listed below.

Specialized Experience
Your resume must demonstrate you have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service creating, maintaining, and/or reconciling obligations and expenses in an automated software system; developing financial policies, and/or procedures; AND formulating budget information for annual funding needs.

You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by the 07/29/2026 of this announcement.
