Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages and leads an interdisciplinary team of professionals in real property operations and facility
    management, and project delivery.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains the business management policies and procedures to effectively and efficiently facilitate the delivery of services to customers.
  • Directs the management and tracking of all aspects of on-going facility management.
  • Provides authoritative advice to the Chief, SFMS on team priorities, planning, analysis and management of initiatives and responsibilities.
  • Plans and coordinates the development of facility management requirements of EOIR space in field and headquarters locations.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisor Facilities and Realty Management, at GS-1101-14, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below.

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS - 13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. (Please submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. If your eligibility for both merit promotion and/or time-in-grade cannot be determined, your application will be rated ineligible. Please see Required Documents for additional information). Time-in-grade requirements also apply to VEOA applicants having held a GS position in the past year.

FOR THE GS-14 LEVEL:

Specialized Experience :
Applicants must have at least one or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:

  1. Managing agency's personal property and accountable property programs and working closely with other agency personnel to provide functional logistics services; and
  2. Interpreting policies, regulations, and guidance and implementing changes related to real and personal property issued by GSA to ensure compliance with reporting requirements; and
  3. Developing and maintaining an inventory management system for tracking agency accountable property; and
  4. Managing logistics related services to include transportation, warehouse, mail, and labor. 5. Developing policies and procedures that facilitate the delivery of services to customers;
AND/OR
  1. Managing a facility management program to include financial planning, project prioritization, project execution, and a customer service desk; and
  2. Developing policies and procedures that facilitate the delivery of services to customers; and
  3. Performing analyses, developing reports, and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership of findings related to facility management topics; and
  4. Assessing the needs, expectations, and satisfaction of customers; and
  5. Monitoring real property management and operations. Coordinating with service providers to ensure occupants receive proper level of building services.

Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) seeks highly-qualified individuals to join our team of expert professionals in becoming a part of our challenging and rewarding Agency. The primary mission of EOIR is to adjudicate immigration cases by fairly, expeditiously, and uniformly interpreting and administering the Nation's immigration laws. Under delegated authority from the Attorney General, EOIR conducts immigration court proceedings, appellate review, and administrative hearings. EOIR consists of three adjudicatory components: The Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, which is responsible for managing the Immigration Courts where Immigration Judges adjudicate individual cases; the Board of Immigration Appeals, which primarily conducts appellate review of these Immigration Judge decisions; and the Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer, which adjudicates immigration-related employment cases.
