The NYO also conducts civil investigations of anticompetitive conduct.

The Assistant Chief will assist the Chief in managing cases and personnel, as well as assisting with career development, training and mentoring. The Assistant Chief may also be responsible for leading investigations and prosecutions.

Upon selection, the candidate selected for this position will be placed on a three year Management Detail as Assistant Chief of the Division's NYO. At the end of the three-year period, the Management Detail will be re-posted or renewed, at the option of the Division.
