This is a temporary appointment, not to exceed 8/31/2022, and is open to students who have completed 1 academic year of post high school study and are currently enrolled at a qualifying educational institution pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree on at least a half-time basis.
The student selected for these opportunity will work with the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) and will perform duties under the position of Student Trainee (Admin/Analysis). Duties include but are not limited to the following:

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must be a student who has been accepted for enrollment or who is currently enrolled and seeking a degree, diploma or certificate in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis (half-time is defined by the educational institution in which the student is enrolled).
To qualify at the GS-03; you must have completed at least 1 academic year of post-high school study. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

Current students must have a grade-point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Interns must maintain a 2.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale throughout the duration of the internship.
