Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) is an out-patient program which serves Veterans diagnosed with a serious mental illness who are interested in working on recovery. It is a multi-disciplinary staff comprised of two Social Workers, Occupational Therapist, Peer Support and a Registered Nurse. The clinical staff serve as Recovery Advisors who work individually with Vets and also provide psycho-educational group therapy. The Mental Health Registered Nurse also serves as the medical liaison on the team.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0730-1600 or 0800-1630
Functional Statement: Nurse I - III
Physical Requirements: Work is mostly sedentary in nature. Use of fingers; Using both hands required; Near vision correctable at 13 to 16" to Jaeger 1 to 4; Far vision correctable in one eye to 20/20 and to 20/40 in the other; Hearing (aid permitted); Light lifting (under 15 pounds); Light carrying (under 15 pounds); Must have emotional stability.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred Experience/Education: Successful Psychiatric Nursing Experience. MSN Degree.
