    The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hosting a Law Enforcement Recruitment and Hiring event to fill mission critical law enforcement positions. You will meet representatives from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Secret Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Office of Intelligence and Analysis.

    Come learn about the federal application process and current job openings in DHS from hiring managers and human resources specialists. On site interviews may lead to a tentative job offer if qualified and selected. Openings for female law enforcement and various other positions will be available. There will also be representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on hand to assist with any questions veterans may have regarding benefits or other concerns.     2020 Census Jobs Virtual

    Hosted by U.S. Census Bureau

    Starting in Fall 2018: A relatively small scale recruiting effort will be performed to fill outreach and office positions, including Recruiting Assistant, Officer Operations Supervisor, and Clerk positions. 

    Starting in January 2019: The Census Bureau will being opening 40 Area Census Offices (ACOs) to support the first large field operation, Address Canvassing. The recruiting effort will take place from January 2019 to June 2019.

    Starting in June 2019: An additional 210 ACOs will being opening to support all field operations conducted in the year 2020. The recruiting effort will take place from September 2019 to February 2020.
