At the full performance level, the Public Health Analyst:
Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of program operations to define and solve problems for program managers.
Manages and improves public health programs that affect health care providers and patients.
Exercises management responsibilities related to the initiation, management, and/or close-outs of grants, contracts, awards, and/or cooperative agreements.
Serves as a point of contact providing information on public health program evaluation activities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements for GS-09:
A. Have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, compiling information on the impact of health technology adoption and electronic health information exchange; researching public health program regulations, executive directives or operations; assisting with the development of components of public health program operational plans and proposals; and assisting with compiling data to support research on public health program effectiveness and organizational productivity.

B. Have master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in public health or other field of study with course work directly related to the work of the position to be filled or LL.B. or J.D., if related. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will satisfy the one year of full-time study requirement.

C. Have a combination of specialized experience as described in "A" above and graduate level education as described in "B" above.
Minimum Qualification Requirements for GS-11:
A.
