Temporary Promotion: A temporary promotion is the temporary assignment of an employee to a higher graded position for a specified period of time, with the employee returning to his/her permanent position the expiration of the temporary action.
This is a temporary promotion/Detail not to exceed one year. This temporary promotion will not be made permanent without further competition.
Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will not be paid. All travel, transportation, and relocation expenses associated with reporting for duty in this position will be the sole responsibility of the selected employee.
