  1. Minimum Requirements: Applications will be evaluated based on the quality and scope of applicants' accomplishments and experience as they relate to the Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs). The DHS Executive Services Team will conduct a minimum qualifications screening.

Your resume should be clear and concise and demonstrate an appropriate level of accomplishment and responsibility. The Executive Rating and Ranking Panel will evaluate applicants based on their two-page resumes and how well those resumes demonstrate the required qualifications. Your resume must clearly substantiate the MTQs. If it does not, your application may be deemed ineligible.

  3. Referral: If you are among the Best Qualified candidates, your application will be referred to the Hiring Manager/Selecting Official for consideration and a possible interview.
