Duties

Help

As a Strategic Integrator, duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

  • Identifying agency needs and impacts to agency policy and procedures,
  • Establishing current and future business process workflows, and translating agency business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
  • Collaborating with a wide range of management, Program and IT personnel throughout the Agency, Department and the industry as a whole.
  • Gathering identifying and assembling data and prepares periodic formal review and analysis for senior management officials, Associate Administrator and supported program manager.
  • Represents the agency as a customer advocate, researching problems and solutions in conjunction with the National Office staff.
  • Advising the Director, other Agency officials, and staff on pertinent issues and critical problems and makes recommendations on how to address those issues.
  • Developing program studies, strategic assessments and analyses of alternatives solutions to support business transformation.
  • Preparing and presenting briefings and making presentations on the assessments progress and results, to include preparation of technical reports and/or documents on progress and results

Qualifications

You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for Strategic Integrator, as described below.

For GS-14: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Qualifying specialized experience for GS-14 includes:

1.)Experience managing complex software portfolios using Agile methodologies.
2.)Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to refine product backlogs, prioritize deliverables, and navigate changing priorities, resulting in measurable improvement in product efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
3.)Experience working with Knowledge Management methods, techniques, tools, systems, and applications to integrate concepts and best-business practices into organizational processes to improve performance and enhance capabilities and efficiencies.
4.)Experience with computer information systems, techniques, capabilities, methods and procedures.
5.) Experience working with basic statistical, budget, and economic principles and techniques in order to effectively evaluate assigned programs and formulate recommendations.

There are no education requirements for this position and there is no substitution of education for specialized experience at this grade level.

This position is inside the bargaining unit. If the duty location is within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, the position will be included in the Local 12, AFGE bargaining unit. If the duty location is outside the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, the position will be included in the NCFLL bargaining unit.
