Duties

Help

As a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • Serves as the senior technical authority and Agile Scrum Master/Senior Technical Lead for the O365, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online development team.
  • Acts as the lead for the strategic planning, governance, and lifecycle management of the API service and platform, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability.
  • Oversees the architectural design, modernization, and lifecycle management for the organization's O365/DoW365 and API environments.
  • Develops and delivers oral and written presentations to senior officials, facilitates application demonstrations, and monitors service desk performance.
  • Provides technical direction for a team of developers, analyzes complex system requirements, and develops agency-level IT policy for enterprise O365 and API environments
  • Leads the technical planning, design, development, testing, and management of internal IT applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Office 365 (O365), Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-13 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:

  • Serving as a senior advisor with mastery of IT application software principles to lead projects for the design, development, and management of systems and application software. This includes mastery in O365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and front-end web development technologies (e.g., SPFx, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS) to build responsive applications.
  • Utilizing API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Azure API)
  • Demonstrating expert skill in developing and delivering written and oral presentations to all levels of managemen

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
