Duties

Help

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory IT Program Manager GS-2210-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Provide enterprise level program governance;
  2. Influence and negotiate enterprise-wide solutions
  3. Develop training and incident response procedures.
  4. Develop security countermeasures necessary to protect classified information.
  5. Oversee a staff of IT Specialists.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager, at GS-2210-15, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

Basic Qualifications (2210 series):

  1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.
  2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
  3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
  4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND

Specialized Experience:

To qualify for the GS-15 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:
  1. Oversee personnel responsible for high-side operation of Tactical Local Area Network Encryption High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (TACLANE HAIPE) encryptors.
  2. Direct the maintenance of networks built on Cisco or Juniper platforms.
