The position will serve as the Director of the Behavioral Health Department, which provides comprehensive behavioral/mental health services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and elderly patients and comprehensive outpatient alcohol/drug treatment services.

In addition to the mandatory license and education described above under Basic Requirements applicants must have at least one or more full years of professional nursing experience that is equivalent to the next lower grade level.
Examples of Experience
Therapeutic services to all age groups that includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses, formulate and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate and counsel patients, and collaborate with physicians concerning patient care and management.
Selective Placement Factor:
Possesses a current, unrestricted professional state license with Prescriptive Authority that allows you to prescribe psychotropic medications to treat mental and emotional disorders (If "Yes" please provide a copy of this license and certification during the online application process.)
Time In Grade (Merit Promotion Candidates Only)
