The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a Coalition Program Integration and Planning Specialist in the Joint Staff J6 Directorate, Coalition Coordination Branch, Coalition Interoperability Division, of the Deputy, Director for Cyber and C4 Integration.

Duties

Help

As a COALITION PROGRAM INTEGRATION AND PLANNING SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • Responsible for the formulation of strategic plans, and oversees implementation of programs and execution policies.
  • Providing information sharing in exercise environments with our mission partners for multiple Tier 1-level exercises and through deployment reporting.
  • Leads or participates in assessment, integration, and/or interoperability project teams.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS GS-14 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:

A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:

  • Serving as an authoritative expert in exercise planning and information sharing initiatives across Department of Defense.
  • Providing expert planning, cogent advice, oversight strategies and implementing recommendations from concept development through executive decision-maker program approval.
  • Served as a Senior level exercise planner responsible for strategic recommendations and direction on complex and consequential matters at the Combatant Command and Service Component level.
  • Executing duties which involves planning, coordinating, integrating, and synchronizing activities in support of NATO and U.S. Mission Partner Environment.
  • Advising exercise planners to solve complex problems involving a variety of integration and federation challenges, information systems, and coordinates mission-based requirements from initiation through deployment and reporting.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
