To qualify for the CG-09: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-07 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience researching data to produce memoranda, charts, reports, and other legal documents for management use, utilizing electronic databases, and providing general administrative support to business operations (e.g., answering phones, managing calendars, maintaining filing systems, and dispersing information).

COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-09 level.

Selectee(s) for this position will be required to report to their duty station office at least 1 day per pay period beginning January 2, 2024, and at their supervisor’s direction to support mission and project needs. In person reporting requirements are expected to increase in July 2024.
