Position has been designated as security designation level such Non-critical Sensitive. Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Incumbent is required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and is subject to random drug testing for the duration of service with DoD OIG.

Qualifications

Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-11 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.
For entry at the GS-12 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience:
For entry at the GS-11 level you must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as the ability to perform reviews and assessments of programs in areas, which includes DoD programs, functions and missions, national security, homeland defense, joint and interagency operations, command function, military operations logistics resource management, medical systems, information management and stabilization, stability operations, or comparable key program areas. Conducts surveys and reviews to gather and evaluate information on program and management operations. Analyzes and prepares reports of results, documenting findings and recommendations. Researches laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in program reviews. Identifies potential data sources, determines relevance, and analyzes and applies results in studies. OR
A qualifying Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in program analysis or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in program analysis. OR
An appropriate combination of specialized experience and graduate level education (beyond what is required for a master's degree, i.e., more than 36 semester hours leading to a Ph.D.)
