Internships - Schedule D Pathways Student Intern NTE. Appointments for undergraduate or graduate students will be made with a Not to Exceed date of 10/31/2024.
All U.S. Citizens students must be enrolled in an accredited college, professional, technical, vocational, or trade school. Enrollment is on at least a half-time basis at a qualifying educational institution in a certificate, degree, or diploma program with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 undergraduate; or 3.0 graduate at time of application and throughout the appointment.

As a Student Trainee you will perform essential assignments which include, but are not limited to:
Providing administrative support and implementation.
Reviewing incoming communication and disseminate to the supervisor or other staff members as appropriate, establishing, reviewing, and updating standard office procedures.
Reviewing and analyzing administrative policies, clarifying guidelines and making recommendations to the supervisor for changes.
Maintaining office calendars and appointment/meeting schedules; assisting with responding to external audits; and utilizing a variety of office automation programs, applications, tools and systems to generate reports, graphics, charts and PowerPoint presentations.

Qualifications
GS-5: You qualify for the GS-5 level (starting salary $45,146) if you possess the following:
Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree
GS-7: You qualify for the GS-7 level (starting salary $55,924) if you possess the following:
1 full year of graduate level education; or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision and completion of a bachelor’s degree
GS-9: You qualify for the GS-9 level (starting salary $68,405) if you possess the following:
2 academic years of graduate level education, or a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

Students must maintain student eligibility and enrollment throughout the duration of the appointment (Applicants must be actively enrolled at an accredited institution).
