Duties

Help
  • Serves as the Affirmative Employment Program and Compliance Manager within the Equal Employment Office (EEO) of the Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
  • Promotes a representative and diverse workforce and assures equity in the treatment for those in, and seeking to enter, the DCMA workforce.
  • Provides program management and oversight for the agency’s affirmative employment programs (including the required Special Emphasis Programs for women, minorities and people with disabilities.
  • Performs detailed analyses and investigations of agency programs to support the mission and the strategic plans of the agency.
  • Provides guidance and interpretation of EEO regulations to management officials, Principal Offices (PO), employees and staff.
  • Briefs at all levels of management, to include the Senior Executive level, to ensure continuity of operations in execution and accountability for a Model EEO Program.

Qualifications

To qualify for an Equal Employment Manager position, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

  • Developing an Agency-level MD715 Affirmative Employment Program.
  • Developing an agency level DVAAP Plan.
  • Implementing compliance requirements for a Model EEO Program.
  • Developing At-A-Glance Data Analysis for leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Developing EEO Staff Assistance Visit Program.
  • Developing or implementing Agency level AEP policy guidance.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
