WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Performing analysis and advisory assignments related to the effectiveness of programs, administrative and management programs.
  • Performing limited program, administrative and management analysis assignments that are developmental and recurring in nature including functions such as the following:
    • Participating in gathering and organizing narrative and statistical information using established methods, techniques, and precedents, such as questionnaires, interviews, review of computer data, and comparison of past, present, and related program functions.
    • Participating in studies and analysis of internal administrative operations, organizations, or management to achieve greater economy and efficiency.
  • Learning and developing applications and sequences of analytical steps appropriate for assigned studies, or portions of studies, from planning through fact finding to reporting results.
  • Assisting senior analysts to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of program operations in meeting the established goals and objectives of the designated assignment.
  • Reviewing both program operational plans and current and incoming work projects.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3)of the following:

  1. Assisting with drafting program reviews.
  2. Assisting with program evaluations and applying guidelines for the effectiveness of program operations.
  3. Advising on program funding or budgets.
  4. Assisting with studies of organizational efficiency and productivity.

Education:
Successful completion of at least one (1) full year of graduate level education;

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
