You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a comprehensive program that entails mail processing support services, case analysis and classification, information analysis, and development and maintenance of reports and applications. You will also direct the day-to-day operations supporting the Division's information management systems and provides technical and administrative supervision to subordinate staff.

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Program Analyst, GS-0343-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Guiding and evaluating contractor efforts and assesses technical progress concerning the established schedule and resources allotted.
Reviewing and planning specifications, and cost estimates for technical adequacy.
Performing contractor oversight for quality assurance efforts
Directing the capture, reporting, and analysis of statistical data relating to the organization's operations or personally performs special studies or projects
Performing the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
Developing strategies designed to meet the needs of complex program issues for litigation-related database and case management programs and information management systems.
Planning and preparing reports or other working documents related to complex program issues for major DOJ programs.
Analyzing and reviewing existing programs, operations and practices and evaluates these against DOJ-wide programs to achieve the most effective utilization of resources.
You must successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening.
You must be a current Federal employee within the Department of Justice, Civil Division on a Competitive Service appointment.
You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Program Analyst, (GS-0343-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.
If you are a current Department of Justice Civil Division employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the GS-13 grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade.
To qualify for the GS-14 Supervisory Program Analyst Position, you must demonstrate that you have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 performing such duties increasing organizational efficiency and effectiveness of an information managements system through reviews, analysis, and evaluations to ensure database integrity and quality assurance; and evaluating and assessing multi-functional program implementation for compliance to established policy and regulations and providing recommendations to leadership for organizational improvement.
