This position is located in the Office of Human Capital Services (OHCS), a corporate staff office of the Under Secretary for Oceans and Atmosphere and Administrator, with one vacancy in Silver Spring, MD or Norfolk, VA.
As a Human Resources Specialist (Classification), you will perform the following duties:
This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS). This system replaced the Federal GS pay plan and structure. Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
The ZA-2 is equivalent to the GS-7/9 grade levels. The full performance level is at the ZA-3 level. The ZA-3 is equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade levels.
