Summary

Duties

Help
  • Perform wide range activities associated with appropriated funds.
  • Prepare well documented financial statements and reports for fund managers.
  • Provide assistance in the resolving discrepancies and reconcile various allocations.
  • Develop information and recommendations manager controlling funds make decisions.
  • Assures compliance with pertinent policy and procedures with the Section and Division.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.

Time in grade: Applicants must have one year at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade (e.g. one year at the GS-07 grade level for consideration for the GS-09 grade level).

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. The specialized experience requirements for this position includes experience reviewing budget requests or plans to ensure compliance with regulations or guidelines; developing or analyzing budget data or recommendations; and reviewing budgetary or financial reports.

OR

Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree, 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Related degrees may include Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance.

OR

A combination of specialized experience and education.
