Qualifications

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. Basic Requirements (You must provide unofficial transcripts): Degree: in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience directly related to the duties of the position at the GS-05 grade level under the General Schedule (GS) or equivalent under other pay systems. Specialized experience include but is not limited to: knowledge of biological ecosystems including soils, aquatic systems, native flora, and fauna, and their associated habitat requirements in order to effectively implement scientifically credible inventory, monitoring, mitigation, and protection programs. Manage the collection and summation of data, and accomplish data analysis in a way that meets acceptable standards. Generate reports using computer hardware, software and applications. Insure that documents are well written and easily understood in order to share information with others. Monitor natural resources according to NPS regulations and policies.
-OR- EDUCATION: 1 year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study.
