The Laborer contributes to the overall mission of the Irrigation - Operations and Maintenance Section by performing maintenance services with integrity, fairness and timeliness, remembering the end product must be quality service.
Load and Unload various materials such as cement, aggregate, lumber and gate parts.
Assists in building forms for concrete structures; sets, oils and strips concrete forms.
Operates concrete vibrator, trowel and directs mud flow while pouring irrigation structures.
Cleans canals, removes trash from canals, burns weeds and clears culverts.

Working Conditions: The work is predominately outdoors and will expose the incumbent to all kinds of weather, on all kinds of terrain and with footing from dry and solid to wet, deep mud and around deep water. Breathing conditions are generally good, but temperatures vary.
