As a Property Disposal Specialist, you will be disposing of a broad range of highly complex or specialized property within a multi-state market area or among a wide variety of Federal activities with different property needs and disposal requirements. This position is located in the Federal Acquisition Service, Property Division, Fort Worth, TX. This office is responsible for performing all phases of activities involving the Property Management programs.

The GS-07 salary range starts at $45,158 per year.
The GS-09 salary range starts at $55,237 per year.
The GS-11 salary range starts at $66,831 per year.

The GS-7 salary $45,158 per year. Generally, first time appointees to Federal civilian service have their salary set at the beginning rate of the grade for which they are selected; unless prior approval has been received to adjust the salary based on superior qualifications of the applicant.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that equipped the applicant with knowledge, skills and abilities to perform utilization, donation, marketing and related functions for excess and surplus personal property.

Combination of Education & Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a combination of graduate level education (beyond the Bachelor's Degree) and specialized experience (as described above) that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.

Education: Applicants must have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D., or 2 academic years of progressively higher level graduate education in a related field. OR
Combination of Education & Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a combination of graduate level education (beyond the Bachelor's Degree) and specialized experience (as described above) that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
GS-11 Level
The GS-11 salary starts at $66,831 per year. Generally, first time appointees to Federal civilian service have their salary set at the beginning rate of the grade for which they are selected; unless prior approval has been received to adjust the salary based on superior qualifications of the applicant.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience performing property disposal work for excess and surplus personal property using principals and concepts associated with two or more of the following disposal functions: utilization; donation; sales/marketing.
Education: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.
