Located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest's Puget Sound region, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) is the Defense Department's premiere military installation in the northwest and is the most requested duty station in the Army. This is a regular full time position working no less than 40 hours per week with benefits. Currently have two positions open within the Community Recreation Division, one located at Outdoor Recreation and the other working directly with the Community Recreation Officer. Manages a business activity. Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures. Represents the activity to the public. Conducts customer surveys, reviews usage/sales to make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities and revenue improvements.
Supervises assigned staff.
Develops budgetary data. Evaluates financial statements, reviewing costs against revenues, advising supervisor of status and recommending improvements in merchandise lines, marketing, etc.
Highly Preferred Criteria:
Knowledge and experience with Army Community Recreation Reports Online, Nonappropriated Fund Capital Purchase and Minor Construction, Uniformed Funding and Management Principles with Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Category A & B, to include understanding of Installation Management Command Business plans, and managing and operating an annual budget.
