We are currently recruiting for Contract Specialist positions within our Federal Acquisition Service (a component of GSA that focuses on procuring goods & services for the federal government).
As a Contract Specialist, you will perform the full range of policy-related work, price analysis, cost analysis, contract negotiation, administration, and termination. An example of contracts include the Airline City Pairs Program, which provides negotiated airline rates to meet the government’s air travel needs.

Bargaining Unit status: VARIES BASED UPON POSITION
If you are selected at a grade lower than the full performance level, you may be promoted up to that grade level without having to re-apply or compete against other applicants.

If you are selected, you will participate in a developmental program. You will be given assignments and training to prepare you to be successful in the position.
