SOUTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD
The South Dakota National Guard has two distinct missions. The State mission is to provide units to assist and support civil authorities in the protection of life and property, preserve peace, order and public safety under the direction of the governor. The Federal mission is to provide combat ready, mission-capable forces throughout the entire spectrum of conflict under the direction of the president.
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, you will:
This position is located in the DCSLOG/G4, Distribution Management Division, Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO). The primary purpose of this position is to provide automated logistics Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) support to all state/territory activities and organizations and provide technical/functional support and oversight regarding the implementation of STAMIS systems, Automated Logistical Programs and other Combat Service Support (CSS) systems within the state.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT:
Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following MOS/AOC within 90 days of effective date of hire: Warrant Officer: WO1-CW2: WOBR 011A, WMOS 255A, 255D, 882A, 890A, 913A, 914A, 915A, 915E, 920A, 920B, 922A; Enlisted: ECMF 923A, EMOS 25B, 25D, 36B, 51C, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92Y. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance for this position.
