Natick Contracting Division (NCD) is a full service contracting organization managing integrated acquisition from research and development through production and post-production services. As part of US Army Contracting Command, NCD's expertise is utilized by all of the Armed Services, but in particular we provide contracting support to key Program Executive Offices and Program Managers supporting the U.S. Army's major acquisition programs. We contract for major soldier support systems ranging from uniforms and individual equipment to air drop delivery, as well as, critical technologies such as Chemical/Biological agent detection and protection and Unmanned Aircraft Systems. In a developmental capacity, the incumbent of this position will serve as a Contract Specialist working for the Natick Contracting Division (Milford, MA). You will be responsible for providing support to contracting officers in all facets of the acquisition process. Specifically, you will:

BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
A. A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field from an accredited educational institution (Note: Transcripts are required at the time of application.)

Education Substitution: One full year of graduate education or law school OR Superior Academic achievement in one or a combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Combination of Education/Experience: For this position you may qualify with a combination of qualifying education (as described above) and qualifying specialized experience.
