As a Student Trainee with the Federal Trade Commission, you will assist higher-level staff with various administrative duties and support the offices within the FTC. In addition you will perform the following duties which include, but is not limited to;
To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment on at least a half-time basis in an accredited high school, college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, or trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate. Certificate programs are defined as post-secondary education, in a qualifying educational institution, equivalent to at least one academic year of full-time study that is part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum. Veterans' preference applies in the hiring process. In order to receive preference in hiring, you must clearly identify your claim for veterans' preference when you apply. Must maintain student eligibility and enrollment for the duration of the internship. If graduation from an undergraduate program is expected by Spring 2017, must be accepted for enrollment to a graduate program and able to provide verification of this acceptance.
