The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be participating in the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers career fair on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9am-5pm EST at the Boston National Convention Center located in Boston, MA.
We will be recruiting a variety of positions using direct hire authority for multiple disciplines and grade levels. Depending on position/location selected, promotion potential will be the GS 06, 07, 09, 11, 12, 13, and 14 levels. We encourage practicing professionals to register and submit resumes early. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be participating in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Career Fair located in Chicago, IL at the McCormick Place Convention Center on Thursday 24 October 2024 (2:00pm – 4:00pm CST) and Friday 25 October 2024 (10:00am – 3:00pm CST). We will be recruiting a variety of positions using direct hire authority for multiple disciplines and grade levels. Depending on position/location selected, promotion potential will be the GS 04, 06, 07, 09, 11, 12, 13, and 14 levels. We encourage practicing professionals to register and submit resumes early. If you answered yes to these questions, please join a special FEMA Resume Workshop where we will discuss the specifics of applying for this position.
In this position you will work as a member of the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Facilities Management Division, Maintenance Branch team. MWEOC is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, approximately 60 miles west of Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with medium voltage distribution and proficiency in using software for arc flash hazard analysis and coordination studies.
