The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for:
Reviewing Agency directives, action memoranda, etc., to keep abreast of proposed and pending actions which may affect assigned responsibilities and determine impact on TIP operations policies, principles and procedures.
Analyzing and monitoring the implementation and progress of the Directorate's financial operating plan.
Coordinating the performance management activities for the Directorate.
Participating in Directorate workload analysis efforts to determine staffing mix to meet future Directorate workload demands.
Overseeing the Federal travel process and Committee of Visitor (COV) processes
Performing ad hoc and formal analyses of Directorate administrative systems and business practices, e.g., travel, use of AOAM funds, IPA investments, etc.
Serving as Training Coordinator for the Directorate.
Providing guidance to Division Operations Managers and other staff.
Providing human capital support in conjunction with the Operations Officer and HRM, to assist in developing annual Directorate staffing plans and preparing comprehensive organizational charts.
Setting priorities, exercising independent judgement and initiative to achieve the purposes and goals of the Directorate's overall operations.

This detail/temporary promotion is for a period of 120-days and may be extended up to one year.

If selected for a temporary promotion, it may be made permanent without further competition.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal Service leading and overseeing strategic operational activities for an organization, to include performing human capital management, financial management, and analysis of administrative and operational functions and processes.
Examples of specialized experience include: experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative techniques in order to analyze, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational operations; planning, organizing, and coordinating the work for yourself and others; overseeing resource allocations, to including both human and financial resources; using creativity and ingenuity in developing, analyzing, and proposing solutions to management problems and training activities; and communicating orally and in writing through complex reports, policy, guidance, and presentations to diverse groups.
