As a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Finance, Finance and Accounting Division you will be responsible for productivity and efficiency of the USPTO Travel Management Program.
Typical duties include:
•Serving as an approving official of the USPTO for travel-related matters. Provides passport and visa support for all USPTO official travelers who travel internationally.
•Understanding, developing and implementing travel policies, procedures and internal control concepts related to the payment of federal funds.
•Serving as liaison with other USPTO business units (travelers, approvers, and preparers) DOC, GSA, State Department, foreign country embassies, and the Gov travel service provider and travel management center (such as ConcurGOV/AdTrav).
•Continuing evaluation and analysis of assigned USPTO travel areas for overall operational efficiencies/inefficiencies, program-related trends, effectiveness in achieving planned goals, objectives, milestones, and reporting.
