Summary

Duties

Help

Serves as a Traffic Management Coordinator at an ATC-12 terminal facility and is responsible for administering traffic management programs, traffic analysis, and liaison with military users concerning altitude reservations, large scale military exercises, and long range mission planning; providing intra/inter center coordination on traffic movement activities.

Qualifications

Candidates must show specialized experience, which is defined as: Must have been facility rated or area certified in an ATO terminal/en route facility. Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.

This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.

Movement between CPC and TMC positions in the same facility will result in no change of pay.

This position is covered under P.L. 92-297 for good time/early retirement purposes.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions on the FAA Form 3330-43-1, "Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Transfer Program". The FAA Form 3330-43-1 must be signed by applicant and rating official to receive consideration.
