    This position is located with the Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), Office of the Administrator, Public Affairs Office, in Washington, DC.

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Web Content Manager for the Public Affairs Office (PAO) within the Office of the Administrator planning and carrying out a full range of customer-focused web communications development and management activities that support agency mission, goals and policy.

    • Serving as an expert for the content, design, functionality and user experience of the organization's website.
    • Developing, recommending, and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to manage the content of web-based products.
    • Tracking website content change and development requests, interface with server administrators and planning and executing usability studies, contextual interviews, usability testing and surveys.
    • Ensuring that all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines are incorporated in newly developed agency policies and procedures.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
