In this position you will supervise staff of Librarians and Technical Information Specialists responsible for engagement related programs; Provide expert consultation concerning engagement strategies and standards; Serve as senior technical advisor providing advice and oversight of centralized engagement operations; Lead strategic planning of OET's engagement program and Develop and manage partnership with National and International Organizations.

Qualifications

In order to meet the basic education requirements, you must have:

A full 4-year course of study that meets all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with major study in the subject-matter field of the position to be filled;

OR

Four years of experience that provided a knowledge of the basic principles, theories, practices, techniques, and terminology of a discipline or subject-matter field; an understanding of the standard methods, procedures, and techniques of research and analysis in the subject-matter field; and where appropriate, ability to read and comprehend nontechnical material in one or more foreign languages. Such experience must have been equivalent to that which would have been gained through a 4-year college curriculum;

OR

A combination of education and experience as described above.

In addition to meeting the basic education requirements: To qualify at the GS-14 level: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing and implementing programs to provide health information to different populations, including developing goals, success measures/metrics, and project milestones; establishing and implementing new and/or existing policies, procedures, and guidelines for outreach or engagement programs; serving as a team lead or supervisor, including assigning work, managing project resources, and measuring results; communicating effectively orally and in writing; and reviewing/editing the written work of other staff.
