Serves as the Supervisory Hydrologic Technician contributing to the agency's strategic goal of water conveyance by ensuring the efficient conveyance, utilization, and accurate accounting of boundary and transboundary river waters in accordance with domestic law and international agreements. Responsible for the management of the hydrographic stream measurement program along the US and Mexico border covering the Rio Grande and Colorado rivers and other western boundary streams.

Providing direct administrative and technical guidance on work requirements and procedures.
Maintaining surveillance of waterways and areas related to agency operations.
Designing, preparing, planning, and constructing stream gaging stations, cableways, and other structures.
Ensuring the timely and accurate computation, compilation, review and transmission of hydrologic data.
Supervising a team of Hydrologic Technicians that are in various geographic locations.
