The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:
Your application will be evaluated on your performance appraisal per the National Agreement Article 15, subsection 6.
HOW YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED: You will respond to a series of questions designed to determine your eligibility, the locations for which you wish to be considered, and information that will be used to determine the order in which you will be considered under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants applying to the same location(s) will be referred in order of IRS EOD.
Employees currently in positions with specialty areas that require specialized training will only be eligible to volunteer for relocation to vacancies in the same specialty area.
Applicants must file their voluntary applications for consideration, selecting NO MORE THAN THREE (3) locations they wish to be considered for, by the closing dates specified in the announcement. The Voluntary Relocation Program has a Bi- Annual Opportunity for consideration. This announcement is for consideration between January 3, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
All applicants will be considered tentatively eligible until their information has been verified. Applicants qualifications will be verified at the time an appropriate position has been identified for which the applicant may be referred. Applicants that are found not meeting the qualifications as specified in this announcement will be made ineligible and so notified at the time of verification.
