    Are you a candidate who has comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of digital health technologies, biomedical, healthcare, and/or bioethical research concepts, and administrative laws, policies, and regulations relevant to NIH? If selected, you will be responsible for analyzing emerging policy issues and translating complex research concepts to lay audiences.

    Responsibilities

    As a Health Science Policy Analyst in OSP, you will serve as a focal point for coordinating and connecting digital health activities across NIH.

    • Evaluating policies/regulations/initiatives related to digital health technologies and their potential impact for biomedical, healthcare, or bioethical research. Specific activities will include the continual analysis and tracking of digital health technology use and development across the scientific research enterprise and a portfolio review/evaluation on the extent to which digital technologies are currently being used in clinical research supported by NIH.
    • Maintaining awareness of scientific and legislative developments and issues having implications for current and planned biomedical, healthcare, or bioethical research and research training programs.
    • Providing staff support to expert committees and major meetings organized by the OSP to address major program and science policy issues.
    • Conducting basic, translational, clinical, or bioethics research to policy development.
